Regular Meeting Luncheon

Location:
Empress Banquets
200 East Lake Street, Addison, IL

Cost:
$25.00

Presentation:
Project Fire Buddies

The speaker for this meeting will be a representative(s) of Project Fire Buddies (PFB).  PFB is a charitable organization that partners with fire departments to offer support for critically ill children and their families, bringing comfort, fun, and companionship.

This program is a benefit in many ways to families in need, as well as to agencies that participate.  Information on PFB is on their website at www.projectfirebuddies.org.

Some of you are already members of PFB – others are seeking additional information on the program and what’s involved.  At our August Metro Chiefs meeting, PFB will inform those who don’t know about PFB, and will provide updates for those already participating.  Because PFB often functions as a collaboration of fire departments and their unions, we encourage our members to have their union representatives join the chiefs for lunch and to view the PFB presentation.

We expect a larger-than-usual turnout, so please register both your agency reps and union attendees ahead of time.
